Farmers Markets are the great business incubator of the food system. For those new to the business, they provide real time lessons and a community of peers. For more established businesses they offer a chance nab wholesale accounts, develop customer loyalty, and build buzz about your wholesale partners.
This program will give you practical tips on selling at a farmers market while maximizing your return on the time you invest there. We’ll cover choosing the right market, display building, customer service, capturing wholesale accounts at the market, and more. This program includes fun, hands on exercises using great local products that you’ll get to take home.
It is for anyone selling products, or interested in selling products, at a farmers market.
Refreshments will most definitely be served.
